If Eric dies…………I probably wouldn’t watch True Blood as much…..honestly. It’s just something between Sookie and Eric that people love….it’s a like/love/hate/tolerate relationship between them that has people hooked…….I’ve read the books….I want that to happen (big smile)

Eric will NOT meet his final death…he can’t.

    He just…can’t.

I won’t watch without Eric – but I have no doubt he’ll get out of this. Russell probably will, too, but Eric definitely will.

No!!! What would be the point? He is the only reason to watch true blood!

I would miss eric. 😦 But then again the show isnt all about him.

Eric in the books becomes Sookie’s husband… they aren’t about to kill him off….

If he dies what will S4 be based on? Not sure if I’ll stop watching, but I’ll be so pissed & I won’t be as much as a fan.

If Eric dies, I won’t even watch reruns of trueblood.seriously. They’ve strayed so far from the books already, if they kill him off, its over between trueblood and I.

I’d like to say no absolutely not but I do love the show I’d probably light a candle every sunday in honor of him. That man is sex on a stick.

He drank alot of Sookie’s blood.

    Nothing that sexy can die.

  12. August 29, 2010 11:07 pm

defenitely not! if the writers think of doing that, I won’t see the show ever again. Eric is the one, I don’t care how much Sookie thinks she loves Bill, is just wrong to kill Eric, kill Tara or Jason, I don’t care, just respect us!

I’d still watch but wouldn’t be the same without Eric.I’ve read all the books & Eric doesn’t die in any of them so hope that Alan Ball keeps it like that in future series but as we know, he doesn’t really stick to the plots in the books & mixes them up a lot, so we’ll have to wait & see!

I would still watch the show but I don’t think it would be as good without Eric!!!

    Eric won’t die…. He just “can’t” like Pam said….

    Here are my reasons:
1- TB producers ARE NOT that stupid…. The Rolling Stones magazine’s cover says it pretty clearly… It’s the love triangle Bill-Sookie-ERic that makes the show… They may be willing to kill likable characters as a surprise, but they won’t ruin it.

2-If anyone has any idea on how the books go, knows Eric grows in importance as time passes… And although TB writers won’t follow the books by the letter, actually they soften the story… keeping characters (like Lafayette), making characters more importante (like Tara) and even turning down a bit scenes like Bill draining sookie (removing the rape part)

So I’m fairly sure Eric will pull off a heroic stunt, find a way to kill Russell, and sweep Sookie off her feet (finally! He’s sooo much better than Bill!)

no way i refuse to believe eric is gone….he’s getting out of this. bet sookie wishes she had given it to him now though. ERIC IS tru blood!things just won’t be the same without him.AND jus for the record i want to believe he did it because he wanted russell dead so bad for murdering his family not for miss stackhouse!

nope….lots of wonderful talent on the show, but for this 30-something fan – bah bye….it’s all about that sexual tension

Eric’s one of the most interesting characters on the show. I wouldn’t watch if he wasn’t on it anymore.

It is bar none one of the best series I have ever watched. The writing is superb, the acting is brilliant and the stories have been altered just enough from the books to keep it riveting. Eric’s character evolution has been fascinating to witness. If they kill off Eric they will lose 9/10th’s of the fan base. I’d stop watching.

If Eric dies, I probably won’t be as an avid fan! Eric adds so much fire to the show, that without him it will lose some of its luster.

I wont watch anymore.Without him there is will be stale.Eric and Sookie are suppose to be together..I feel that Sookie will be healed.Pam will release Bill and he will feed Sookie. She will run into the sun and stake Russel and drag Eric back in.Or at least that is what I think should happen. Sookie will know the truth and her and Eric will be together..Dont stray to far from the books..Your going to miss the best parts!

If Eric meets the True Death, I will cease to watch True Blood! In my opinion, he is the best male character on the show, and it would never be the same if he was gone.

If Eric meets his True death then True Blood will follow.

  30. August 30, 2010 4:29 pm

They CAN’T kill him off! I’ve read the books too and REALLY want that to happen! I love that Eric is being the hero in this episode. The tender scene with Eric and Pam was the best!

While the last show ended with Eric possibly facing the True Death, I don’t think he will be leaving the show. With the development of Sookie and Eric’s relationship it would make the show less appealing and therefore possibly cause the series to end sooner than antisipated.

  32. August 31, 2010 4:18 pm

seriously yall?? You really think they will let Eric die? Remember how many people thought Lafayette was dead at the end of the first season? And how many people thought Franklin died when Tara bashed in his head? were you not paying attention when they discussed how much faster older vampires burn? Bill and Eric have a plan and i think that Eric has an even bigger plan on top of that. I’m sure that eric will make it back inside in time. Remember Bill in the cemetery? He was out there for a while and he survived. Granted Eric is older than Bill, But Russell is older than Eric. Yall just chill out, and lets not get so emotional until we know Eric is really gone. I personally would be incredibly sad if they got rid of Eric, but i would still keep watching. But i dont think we have anything to worry about, Alan Ball isnt that stupid.

  33. September 9, 2010 4:55 am

Killing Eric is like killing ‘The Goose That Laid the Golden Eggs’ – so in other words…it would be way stupid…can’t imagine the will kill of there cash cow…

makes no sense if they kill eric… since eric is one of the principal characters from the novels and still they changed a lot from the novels, they killed queen sophie anne and she hasn’t died so far according to the seasons and the novels they making with, meaning that this season she wouldn’t be dead if they followed the book. so if they kill eric it’s rly non sense mostly bcs he’s marrying sookie in 2 or 3 novels after the current one that is being featured in this season.

We all know Eric didn’t die, and he won’t be going anywhere since the show is still going strong and his fanbase has increased over the years. I know none of us are looking forward to the series finale. Trubie4L
